History: 1995 – 2000

The BUMA was in 1995 Dipl.-Ing. Rudolf Buchegger founded. After many years of experience in the Voest-Alpine Industrieanlagenbau, and as a design leader in the hot rolling technology, Mr buchegger decided to go his own way. The initial Two-man operation started successfully with projects such as the first back-up rolls-lock and was able to quickly expand. In 1999, the first significant project that laid the Foundation for the further development followed.
