To reach the increasing demand on high performance plate mills with the special demand of small work roll diameters and a maximum of torque, a complete new drive technology was developed. Through the combination of a universal joint and a gear sleeve the advantages of both elements can be used. Durting production small angel are used. so a more or less wear free drive line was reached.
