Spindelbalanzierung Novelis
In 2003 we were awarded the contract for the supply of a spindle balancing system for the company Novelis.
The spindle balancing system balances the weight of the drive spindle of the work rolls.
The spindle has bearing point approximately in the middle of the shaft, where a split bearing housing with a split cylindrical roller bearing is fitted.
The balancing is actuated by a hydraulic cylinder with a pressure which is adjusted to the spindle.
The spindles were supplied by Voith.
