  Modern machine and plant design and engineering would be impossible without complex analyses and calculations. We perform these in-house. FE-calculations of critical parts, pass schedules, vibration analyses or detail optimisations are part of our engineers’ daily business.
- 3d Laserscanning
  For the benefit of our customers, we are equipped with state-of-the-art laser scanning technology since 2019. Within a few minutes, the 3D scanner creates models of plants or entire factory halls with millimetre accuracy. As a result, less time is lost with on-site measurements and the actual situation can be efficiently compared with new plans.

pusher-type furnace No.2

Customer: Dillinger Hütte

In January 2022 BUMA was awarded the contract to upgrade the pusher-type furnace No.2 of Dillinger Hütte for 600mm slabs.

In July 2023 the full production was started, now 56to heavy slabs with 600mm thickness can be heated up efficient in the pusher-type furnace.

The upgraded systems consist of new slab pushers, new discharging machines and a new skid system with evaporating cooling system in natural circulation.
