  Modern machine and plant design and engineering would be impossible without complex analyses and calculations. We perform these in-house. FE-calculations of critical parts, pass schedules, vibration analyses or detail optimisations are part of our engineers’ daily business.
- 3d Laserscanning
  For the benefit of our customers, we are equipped with state-of-the-art laser scanning technology since 2019. Within a few minutes, the 3D scanner creates models of plants or entire factory halls with millimetre accuracy. As a result, less time is lost with on-site measurements and the actual situation can be efficiently compared with new plans.

A new change manipulator for a casting bow was developed for ArcelorMittal Eisenhüttenstadt. A frame with several adjustable axes was integrated in the very cramped installation spaces.

With the new manipulator, rols can be changed to just under the mold.

This reduced the downtime for the roll change and increased safety.

BUMA engineering & Anlagenbau GmbH delivered the Manipulator on a turn-key basis.
