History
BUMA was founded in 1995 by Dipl.-Ing. Rudolf Buchegger. After many years of professional experience at Voest-Alpine Industrieanlagenbau in continuous casting technology and as design manager of hot rolling technology, Mr. Buchegger wanted to go his own way. The initial two-man company was able to gain a foothold with the first successful projects and quickly gained employees. Here we have listed an insight into our history and selected milestone projects.
